I’m Gavin Daly, a software developer based in Canada. I use this website to share the projects I build, technical notes I want to remember, and writing about the tools and ideas that shape my work. It is a personal site rather than a company or a product business, and the content reflects my own experiments and experience.
My interests include privacy, security, efficient software, infrastructure, and sustainable computing. I enjoy working across the stack: designing a small interface, building a web application, configuring a home lab, or making the underlying system easier to understand and maintain. Current and past projects include Astro sites, Rust applications, Linux systems, networks, and experiments with self-hosted services.
Some projects here are complete and some are still in progress. I keep the unfinished work visible because the decisions, constraints, and lessons along the way are often more useful than a polished final result. You can browse the projects, read the posts, or contact me with a question or comment.
